c single color offset printing machine for synthetic, molded and/or extruded corks. Loading the operator manually positions the corks onto a rotating feeder where a conveyor belt then transfers the desired quantity to the flame pre-treatment station. The corks are automatically sent to the following stations : Treatment where the corks are rotated and treated on 360° of the surface. The treatment is necessary to allow the ink to adhere to the cork. Printing station by dry-offset process. The printing station includes a central drum cylinder with a cliché, timed to the entrance of the cork into the printing station. All the cylinders are easily removable for quick cleaning and cliché change. UV drying station where the corks are rotated under the air-cooled lamp to assure full polymerisation of the ink. The installation has an autonomous ozone suction device and a system to remove the lamp quickly. Discharge where at the end of the above mentioned drying operations the corks fall in bulk into a collection tank. Better print quality and ink adhesion are obtained when corks are clean and no foreign agents are present . |
